I see my work as a way to bring the viewer a moment of happiness in a troubled world. Most of my portraiture work focuses on animals and I attempt for the viewer to connect with more vulnerable creatures. As an artist, I have a cherished opportunity to encourage empathy and challenge societal norms. My goal is to stoke empathy to make a more compassionate world.
My art uses primarily acrylic paints, graphite and ink. I have found that varying my medium has made me a better artist.
I am a Massachusetts based artist and proud member of the queer LGBTQIA+ community.
